KidZania Seoul Terms of Use

  • Article 1 (Application of the General Terms and Conditions)

    Pertinent matters on the position of KidZania Seoul and service of facilities shall follow the matters set forth under the General Terms and Conditions and contents not defined under the General Terms and Conditions shall follow laws and regulations or customs. "KidZania Seoul" is the name of the theme park of MBC Playbe Co., Ltd.
  • Article 2 (Restriction of Opening Hour and Admission)

    1. 1. The business hour is all year long without closing in principle and it may be closed only for special cases (closing period set forth for repairing each year).
    2. 2. The business hour is separately posted to operate, but it is subject to change in accordance with business environment of business enterprise. (However, when any exception occurs, it shall be notified to customers (hereinafter it is appropriate to modify guest to customer) through the separate positing method.)
    3. 3. Special case under the General Terms and Conditions means natural disaster, force majeure, special situation of business, and unexpected climate change. (Hereinafter the same)
    4. 4. When there is excess of permissible admissions for the convenience and safety of guests, the admission may be restricted.
    5. 5. When there is excess of permissible admissions, sales of admission related ticket may be suspended and it shall be informed and notified for guests before its admission.
  • Article 3 (Application of Charge)

    1. 1. Classification of applicable age
      1. - Infant: Younger than 3 years of age (36 months)
      2. - Child: 3 years or older ~ younger than 17 years of age
      3. - Guardian (youth and adult): 17 years or older
      4. - Disabled child: 3 years or older ~ younger than 17 years of age
      5. - Guardian for the disabled child: 17 years or older (The disabled child and guardian for the disabled child have to bring the verifying data (welfare card) to have the service change applied.)
      6. - Silver: 60 years or older
    2. 2. Application of group charge
      1. - 10 persons or more (however, it is limited to the case of admitting under the group name for certain purpose)
      2. - Separate change may be applied within the scope not to violate the purpose of the General Terms and Conditions, pertinent laws and regulations or customs.
    3. 3. Application for each ticket type
      1. - Admission ticket: Ticket to use for various free events, performances and convenience facilities together with admission
      2. - Annual ticket for KidZania Seoul: Ticket to enter to KidZania Seoul for specified period and use the facilities in operation (separately indicate or notify for facilities not available to use)
      3. - Others: Each service ticket may be adjusted under the management policy of the business enterprise and it may implement special service ticket system appropriate to the characteristics of user.
    4. 4. Any preferred charges on the disabled and the elderly may be modified in accordance with the business environment of the business and the detailed contents of application shall be posted and implemented at the ticket office and others. When applying the preferred charges, it has to present the verification to confirm (senior ID card or the registration certificate for the disabled and others).
    5. 5. Charges
      Charges are separately posted and it is subject to change in accordance with the management policy and others of business enterprise and management environment.
  • Article 4 (Refund of Charges)

    1. ① Refund of the ticket can be refunded 100% before the admission, 50% within 2 hours after commencing part 1 and part 2, and no refund after completing of withdrawal.
    2. ② However, in the event that the basis of justifiable withdrawal is recognized due to the cause of impossible to use KidZania Seoul by the guest in certain time after its entry (situation of returning home for urgent situation modification and others), the business may refund or pay for right to re-visit in consideration of several situations, and in this case, the guest shall present the proof (ticket mark and others) to verify the time after entry. Detailed requirements and contents related to the refund request shall follow the provision separately defined by the business enterprise.
    3. ③ Request for replacing the re-visit ticket and request for refund for the ticket due to sudden climate change and general personal situation are not permissible.
  • Article 5 (Matters Related Use)

    1. 1. In order to seek safety of admitted persons and maintain the public feature, following service rules shall be complied with.
      1. ① For maintaining pleasant and clean environment and preventing fire, it shall not carry in or use of entry of food, burner and others that may cause hatred to others or interfere with business of business enterprise.
      2. ② No pet will be allowed for admission other than the dog for the blind.
      3. ③ Any person who acts with a concern of harming other persons while using the park, such as, attires to cause hate, loud noise, violent act and others may be forcibly restricted for entry or withdrawn from the premises.
      4. ④ Following actions shall be prohibited.
        - Entry of hazardous material
        - Sales and display of goods
        - Leaflet distribution
        - Assembly and speech
        - Shooting for commercial purpose
        - Carrying out of various facilities and rental facilities
        - All acts that interfere operation of park and related facilities
        - Entry of children of 7 years or younger without the accompaniment of guardian
    2. 2. For admission to the experimental facilities, no beverage will be carried in.
    3. 3. No minor will be allowed to purchase any goods restricted to purchase, such as, alcohol beverage, cigarette and others in advance the pertinent laws and regulations.
  • Article 6 (Restriction of Use of Facilities)

    1. 1. When using the experiment facilities, age, height, health condition and other physical conditions are considered for the safety of customers to restrict the use of applicable facilities.
    2. 2. During the business hour, use of applicable facilities may be suspended temporarily when inspecting the facilities for safety.
    3. 3. Service rules and caution for each facility is posted for each facility.
  • Article 7 (Re-Entry)

    After the guests are withdrawn, re-entry is not permissible in principle. However, in the event that the business enterprise acknowledged, re-entry may be possible, but it has to have the indication for approval by the business enterprise.
  • Article 8 (Lost Child Protection)

    1. 1. During the business hours:
      - The Company shall operate the missing-child facilities within the corporate facilities and take the pertinent action to handover the missing child to the guardian.
      - When handing over the missing child, the Company shall record and maintain the missing-child journal for mutual confirmation.
    2. 2. After closing the business:
      On the day, the child yet to hand over shall be turned over to a police station together with the record of missing-child record.
  • Article 9 (Lost and Found)

    1. 1. Lost-Found Center is operated to take the pertinent measure for handover of goods.
    2. 2. Reception of lost good and handover matters shall be recorded and maintained on the lost-found journal.
    3. 3. When the received goods are not retrieved by the owner within certain period, it shall be reported and turned over to the police.
    4. 4. Corrosive good may be disposed by the Company at its discretion.
    5. 5. Pertinent lost-found disposition shall follow the provisions of the pertinent laws and regulations.
  • Article 10 (Damage Compensation (disposition at the time of accident))

    1. 1. In the facilities management, in the event that there is any loss inflicted to guests due to intentional or negligent action, it shall pay for the damage compensation in accordance with the Civil Act and/or pertinent laws and regulations.
    2. 2. With respect to any accident occurring from the fault of customer, it shall be disposed in accordance with the provisions of damage compensation under the Civil Act or other pertinent laws and regulations.
