Privacy Policy

    MBC Playbe Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') establishes and presents the following process procedure in order to protect the personal information and handle any related issues.

    Chapter I. The Purpose of Processing Personal Information

    The company may process the personal information for the following purposes. The information will not be used for other purposes; however, if the purpose for the information is changed, additional agreement or any required process will be processed.

    7. Chapter III Methodology of Collecting Personal Information

      1. 1. In the process of subscription and using service, the personal information might be collected when users agree and enter the information.
      2. 2. In the process of consulting thorough customer service, the personal information might be collected via Website, email, fax, phone, etc.
      3. 3. The personal information might be collected during offline events via documents.
      4. 4. The personal information might be provided from third companies or organizations affiliated with the company. In this case, the affiliates must obtain the user's consent to provide personal information.
      5. 5. The personal information for children under 14 years old are can be available after obtain consent from his/her legal representatives.

    8. Chapter IV Period of Processing and Possession of Personal Information

      1. 1. The Company shall process and possess the personal information in accordance with laws and regulations OR within the period of possession and usage of the personal information agreed upon the collection from the user.
      2. 2. The processing and possession periods of the personal information are following below:
      1. ① Membership subscription and Management: Until the time of membership withdrawal; however, if it falls under any of the following cases below, it will be possessed until the end of the cases.
        1) If investigations are in progress due to the violations of relevant laws and regulations, the information will be possessed until the end of the investigation
        2) If bonds and debt are remained due to the use of the Website, the information will be possessed until the settlement of the bonds and debt
      2. ② Provide goods and service: Completion of supply the goods, and payments; however, if it falls under any of the following cases below, it will be possessed until the end of the cases.
        1) Records related to transactions such as display, advertisement, contract contents and implementation in accordance with ‘The Act on Consumer Protection in E-Commerce'
        - Display and Advertisement: 6 months
        - Supply records such as contract, withdrawal of offer, payment, and goods: 5 years
        - Records on consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years
        2) Storage of communication confirmation records in accordance with Article 41 of the ‘Communication Privacy Act'
        - Computer communication, Internet Log data, Access point tracking data: 3 months
      1. 3. Personal information may be collected in writing through offline events.
      2. 4. Personal information may be provided by an external company or organization affiliated with the Company. In such cases, the affiliate must obtain the user's consent to provide personal information.
      3. 5. Children (under 14 years old) are required to obtain their consent from legal representatives.

The company shall specify in the contract document regarding prohibition of personal information processing other than consignment tasks, technical and administrative protection, restricting re-consignment, supervision on fiduciary, damage compensation. It also supervises the fiduciaries process the personal information securely.
      2. 3. If the fiduciary and consignment task are changes, it will be announced without delay.

    12. Chapter VI Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Method of Exercise

    13. 1. User may exercise the following personal information protection related rights on the company at any time.

      4. ④ Request on processing suspension
      1. Exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made through writing in accordance with the forms prepared from the company, phone, email, FAX, and others. The company shall take actions without delay.
      2. In the event that the user requests correction or deletion on error and others of the personal information, the company shall not use or provide the applicable personal information until correction or deletion is completed.
      3. If the information body is under 14 years old, exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made through legal representative, delegated person or representative of user. In this case, the representatives shall have all authority of the information body.
      4. The user shall not fringe the personal information and privacy of the user itself and others by violating Information and Communication Network Law, Personal Information Protection Act, and other related regulations.

    14. Chapter VII Refusal on Installation and Operation of Automatic Device for Collecting Personal Information

      The Company uses the cookie to save and retrieve information of user for providing individualized and tailored service.

    15. Chapter VIII Destroy of Personal Information

      1. 1. The Company destroys the personal information within 5 days when the information becomes unnecessary due to expiration of information retention period and accomplish of processing purpose.
      2. 2. Any information inputted by information body shall be destroyed without delay after accomplishing the purpose, and in the event that it has to be kept in accordance with the pertinent laws and regulations, it shall be moved to a separate DB (in the event of paper, separate document box) and kept for certain period in accordance with the internal policy and other pertinent laws and regulations and destroyed without delay.

        The information stored as digital version shall be destroyed via Low Level Format so that it cannot be re-produced

    16. Chapter IX Actions to Secure the Safety of Personal Information

      The company conduct the following actions in order to secure the safety of personal information.

      1. 1. Administrative Measures : Establish and implementation of the internal management plan, Provide regular trainings for employees, and etc.
      2. 2. Technical Measures : Management of accessibility to the personal information, Installation of access control system, Encryption of identification information, Installation of security program.
      3. 3. On-site Measures: Restriction of computer room and data storage room.

      1. 1. The company is responsible for handling the personal information, and it designates a Personal Protection Officer and the applicable department in order to process customer complaints and damage reliefs.
